MSCA DN ENDURE Project Holds Recruitment Event at DTU (Copenhagen, Denmark)

The MSCA Doctoral Network ENDURE project successfully held its recruitment event at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Copenhagen, Denmark, which, as project coordinator, hosted the meeting.

During the event, 15 shortlisted candidates were interviewed for the available doctoral positions within the network. The day featured a structured format fostering interaction between candidates and experts. In an initial “speed-dating” session, participants had three minutes with each supervisor to introduce themselves and ask questions. This was followed by more in-depth discussions and individual meetings, where candidates delivered a short academic presentation.

On the following day, the Supervisory Board Meeting took place, bringing together supervisors from beneficiary organizations and associated partners to coordinate and plan project activities. The meeting also included technical discussions on moulded pulp and networking opportunities, allowing researchers, professors, and technologists to strengthen relationships and build trust for effective collaboration.

The ENDURE project addresses the demand of highly skilled professionals in the European moulded fibre products sector by training doctoral candidates in natural fibre-based materials and advanced manufacturing technologies. Its goal is to drive innovation in sustainable materials, processes, and design, integrating artificial intelligence and digitalization to expand fibre-based applications from 2D packaging to 3D products.

The beneficiary organizations include the Technical University of Denmark (DTU, Denmark), the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Sweden), the Centre Technique Industriel de la Plasturgie et des Composites (IPC, France), and the Grenoble Institute of Technology (INPG, France), as well as Associated partners including industrial companies and Universities.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s HORIZON-MSCA-2024-DN-01 programme under grant agreement No. 101227649 – ENDURE. Project duration: 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2029.
